Cally Gardens is located in South West Scotland, one hour's drive from Dumfries. To find us, take the Gatehouse road off the A75, and, coming from Dumfries, turn left through the ornate gateway to the Cally Palace Hotel. From here, follow signs to the walled garden. There is a bus service from Dumfries, and a pleasant walk through the forest to the garden takes about 25 minutes. |

Tourist Information Dumfries and Galloway has remained remarkably unaffected by large-scale tourism. It is possible to enjoy the rugged coastline and beautiful inland walking country in complete peace. There are a number of interesting gardens and specialist nurseries to visit, including Logan Botanic gardens, Castle Kennedy, Glenwhan and Threave Gardens. For details see The Plantfinder or contact Local Tourist information (01387 253862), who can also help with accommodation. |
